Q:How many books have you written? Which is your favorite?:Ī:Six, so far. The bringing it to life and marketing have been a learning process. Q:What was one of the most surprising things you learned in creating your books?:Ī:Writing was easy for me. Q:What does your family think of your writing?:Ī:I think they like it.

Q:Where do you get your information or ideas for your books?:Ī:Stories I have heard pieced together with my own experiences and imagination. Never really finished anything until Bob Wire came along in 2014. Q:When did you write your first book and how old were you?:Ī:Been writing on and off for 50 years. Motorcycles, playing the bagpipes (been in a pipe band 20+ years), travel (historical purposes – visit old courthouses and cemeteries, lots of stories there), sailing (crossed the Gulf of Mexico 5 times from Texas and Alabama to Mexico), adventures. Q:What do you like to do when you’re not writing?:Ī:You wouldn’t believe it. Everything takes 3 or 4 times as long as I want it to. I might have a pocket full of notes I have to pull together for a story.Ī:Slowly. Back of an envelope, matchbook covers, post- it notes, paper sacks. Q:What would you say is your interesting writing quirk?:Ī:Writing on whatever is at hand. Or if I get bored, then I start day dreaming and it turns into a story.
